The Knicks once again look like a team capable of winning a playoff series or more as they sit in fifth place in the Eastern Conference, and Keith says they are likely one move away from being a team that can make a deep postseason run.
"Make the move to get Malcolm Brogdon or whoever it is you plan to get to shore up this team for this run, because everyone else around you is making moves," Keith said. "Bruce Brown is not the move. I think you need a bench scorer, which you lost in Immanuel Quickley."
Fortunately for the Knicks, they don't need another star right now, as they already have two, though Keith says New York should prepare for the postseason as if Julius Randle will once again disappoint, as he was plagued by an ankle injury last year after disappearing in his Knicks playoff debut against the Hawks in 2021.
"You gotta plan for him to not show up," Keith said. "Which is even more reason why you need another scorer."
Keith is pulling for Randle to be a go-to guy for the Knicks in the playoffs, but if he isn't, the team can take comfort in the fact that they have another star who has proven to be a weapon in the postseason in Jalen Brunson.
"I think he's gonna be the one," Keith said. "I think he's gonna be the guy to take him where you want to go."
