Keith was on the air as the Knicks' controversial ending went down, with Jalen Brunson being whistled for a foul call with 0.3 seconds left to turn a tie game into a narrow loss, which the officials immediately after the game admitted should have never happened.
Regardless of their admission, Keith went in on the call after the Knicks' third straight loss was sealed.
"That's exactly what I have a problem with in all sports…Houston wins 105-103 on some absolute nonsense," Keith said. "You don't have to be a Knicks fan to feel a certain way about this."
After watching replays, and seeing Brunson making minimal to no contact with the shooter, who switched hands mid-air to throw up a desperation heave from way downtown, Keith grew only more frustrated that the game was decided by that kind of call.
"I didn't see a foul. I didn't see contact. It was a phantom call," Keith said. "The NBA officials being that bad at their job, not seeing what is right there in front of them, just stole a game from the Knicks.
"He didn't even touch him!"
