At long last, the Knicks have learned their Eastern Conference Finals opponent, and fans now know what time each game will tip off.
The league announced the start times for the entire series shortly after the Cavaliers finished their wire-to-wire dismantling of the top-seeded Pistons in Sunday night's game seven, and those Cavs will have a quick turnaround as they visit Madison Square Garden for game one one Tuesday night. The series opener will tip off at 8:00 p.m., as will every other game in this series.
The games will take place every other night through game seven, if necessary, which could play to the Knicks' advantage considering the Cavs have now played in back-to-back series that went the distance, while New York has had nine days off after sweeping the 76ers. The extra rest allowed for the likes of OG Anunoby to return to a full practice participant following his hamstring strain suffered in game two against Philadelphia.
Below is the full series schedule, with all games tipping off at 8:00 p.m. and all games being aired on ESPN.
Game one: Tues. 5/19
Game two: Thurs. 5/21
Game three: Sat. 5/23
Game four: Mon. 5/25
Game five: Wed. 5/27*
Game six: Fri. 5/29*
Game seven: Sun. 5/31*
New York will end its extended break and tip off at MSG on Tuesday night.
