Knicks fan would rather watch 'The Office' without sound or subtitles at MSG than blowout loss

The third quarter was an ugly one for the Knicks on Thursday night, getting outscored by the lowly Pelicans 35-15 while hearing loud boos from frustrated home fans, who were watching New York drop its third straight game at Madison Square Garden.

But at least one fan wasn’t booing the Knicks’ poor effort. Instead, he was watching “The Office” without sound or subtitles.

With booing from fans around him serving as mismatched audio to what he was watching, one fan was caught sitting and taking in an episode of the hit comedy show on one of the flatscreens in front of his MSG seat, watching intently despite not being able to know what any of the characters were saying.

To be fair, that still might have been more desirable to watch than what was unfolding on the hardwood below.
