The Knicks have their full schedule for the 2025-26 season after the league released its full slate on Thursday afternoon, as New York enters a new era with Mike Brown as head coach.
The Knicks open the season on Oct. 22 at home against the Cavaliers, who many expect to be New York’s top competition in the Eastern Conference now that Jayson Tatum and Tyrese Haliburton are recovering from Achilles surgery. The season opener will take place on ESPN.
The first slate of NBA games on Amazon Prime will include the Knicks taking on the Celtics at MSG, the first time the two face off since New York demolished Boston in game six of the conference semis to advance to its first conference final in 25 years.
Other notable games include another home matchup against the Cavs at noon on Christmas Day, while Cooper Flagg and the Mavericks will visit MSG on Martin Luther King Day for a 5:00 tip on Jan. 19.
The NBA Cup games for the Knicks include a road matchup with the Bulls on Halloween, a home tilt with the Heat on Nov. 14, a visit to Charlotte to take on the Hornets on Nov. 26, and back home against the Bucks on Black Friday, Nov. 28.
Other notable games include hosting LeBron James and the Lakers on Feb. 1, Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets coming to town on Feb. 4, a rematch with the hated Pacers on Dec. 18 in Indiana, and a return to Detroit on Jan. 5, where Jalen Brunson ended the Pistons’ season in game six of the first round last season.
The first matchup with the rival Nets takes place at MSG on Nov. 9. The final game of the regular season comes on April 12 at home against the Hornets.
