The Knicks have missed out on a number of reported trade targets, as De’Aaron Fox is now likely not to be traded after the Kings pulled off a Tyrese Haliburton-centered blockbuster with the Pacers, while Portland dealt CJ McCollum to the Clippers.
But with less than two days to go until the trade deadline, New York is reportedly still eyeing a potential trade chip from Sacramento.

According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, the Knicks have asked the Kings about veteran forward Harrison Barnes, who was reportedly on the trading block. Barnes, at 6-foot-8, is averaging 16.8 points and 6.1 rebounds per game this season, shooting 45.6 percent from the floor and 40.6 percent from downtown.
The deadline is fast approaching, and the Knicks, losers of three in a row and six of their last seven, have been quiet aside from the Cam Reddish deal. But Barnes could be a name to keep an eye on in the next 48 hours.
