RJ Barrett heard his name chanted at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on Monday night, and he appeared to be loving every second of it.
The cheers for the Knicks' rising star echoed through the arena during a timeout as New York put together a dominant second half to turn a 20-point deficit into an easy win, and Barrett appeared to be leading the chant himself, pumping his fist to the rhythm of the clap before pointing to the stands when it came time to chant his name again.
The crowd had become mainly visiting Knicks fans by that point, showing love for the 21-year-old who is averaging 27.3 points per game over his last 10 after scoring 29 in Monday's win.
