The Knicks had the third-to-last pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, and it looks like they also got No. 61.

On Friday, Clemson basketball’s official twitter announced that undrafted free agent forward Aamir Simms, who was a four-year starter for the Tigers, has signed a training camp deal with the Knocks. The 6-foot-8, 245-pounder averaged 13.4 points, 6.4 board, and 2.7 assists last season, shooting 53.2 percent from the field and 40 percent from three.

Simms was a two-time All-ACC selection at Clemson – Third Team in 2019-20, Second Team in 2020-21 – and according to his Twitter is “ready to ball with a chip on my shoulder” for the ‘Bockers after not being one of the 60 selections made on Thursday night.
