Knicks sign Danuel House Jr. to 10-day contract

The Knicks have gotten some internal reinforcements back in RJ Barrett and Obi Toppin, but they are still seeking some outside help to aid their shorthanded roster.

The team announced Thursday morning that it has signed Danuel House Jr. to a 10-day contract, less than a week after the 28-year-old was waived by the Rockets.

House made 89 starts over the past four years for Houston, averaging 9.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. He was down with an ankle injury when he was waived, but had an estimated recovery time of just a couple weeks.

House made his pro debut in 2016 with the Wizards after going undrafted out of Texas A&M. He appeared in just one game for Washington before joining the Suns for one season.
