Mitchell Robinson had the media scrum laughing at their own expense on Wednesday night, as the playful Knicks center held up a timer during his postgame interview to show when he would be cutting things off and taking no more questions.
Members of the media chuckled as Robinson answered questions while holding up his phone, which showed the timer counting down. When it hit zero, Robinson answered the question that had been asked to him just before the alarm sounded, but when another question was asked, he quickly replied, 'Nah uh.'
Robinson has been a force for the Knicks so far this season, and certainly was on Wednesday, helping neutralize Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs.
Robinson has always been playful with the media, drawing laughs last season when he casually slipped out of the interview room during a postgame press conference following the clinching game five of the Knicks' first-round series against the Cavaliers. Robinson subtly said "Mitch out" into the microphone, and left the room while a confused RJ Barrett answered the question.
