Nerlens Noel out again for Knicks due to knee soreness

Nerlens Noel will have to continue to wait to make his season debut for the Knicks.

After being listed as questionable for Tuesday night’s matchup with the 76ers, head coach Tom Thibodeau told reporters that center is out for the Eastern Conference battle. Noel has yet to play this season due to a sore left knee.

Philadelphia will have some frontcourt injury concerns of its own, as Joel Embiid hurt his knee in the 76ers season opener and has been dealing with soreness ever since, coming into Tuesday’s game listed as questionable. Backup Andre Drummond is also banged up, battling an ankle injury. But both are likely to play.
