Sal and C-Mac agree that the Knicks need to get it going and turn things around after losing seven of nine, but they both couldn't believe a caller said that it's time to give up his season tickets and stop going to The Garden.
"That's ridiculous," Sal said. "Even I won't go that far."
C-Mac was even more disgusted, as he went off on a rant against any Knicks fans turning their back on a team that many were praising as one of the best in basketball just a month ago.
"What has happened?? What has happened to us?" C-Mac said. "That's all it takes, an awful night against Golden State, and now it's 'What's the point? Let's just all pack it in'? It was a month ago we were having the conversation of 'Can they win a championship?'
"Have we no backbone? Have we no stick-to-itiveness? Have we given up on everything? Guys are still coming back. It's arm injuries, they're gonna have their legs about them…can we stop saying that it's over?"
