The Knicks didn't land Donovan Mitchell this summer because they weren't willing to part with pieces of their young core like RJ Barrett and Quentin Grimes, but another piece of that group is reportedly drawing trade interest.
According to SNY's Ian Begley, New York has received calls from teams that are interesting in trading for Immanuel Quickley, and Begley reports that it has been "several" teams inquiring about the combo guard.
Begley notes that the Knicks would likely be hesistant to move Quickley, who is typically able to give the Knicks some 3-point shooting off the bench, despite struggling from the floor so far this season, shooting just 28.3 percent from downtown and 34.8 percent from the floor.
Quickley, 23, is eligible for a contract extension this offseason, and is one of several young Knicks that the team is hoping can evolve into a strong contributor, though they will likely have to part with some of them in an effort to improve their .500 roster.
