Craig Carton has often said since his release from prison that he is grateful for the friends he was able to talk to along his journey, and hopes that everyone who needs a friend can find someone to talk to – even offering his own services if needed.
On Wednesday's Carton & Roberts Show, however, Craig proved the adage that strangers are friends we just haven't met yet when he got a call from Papa Kirk on Oklahoma. Craig and Papa Kirk have never met, and you might think that an Okie from Muskogee and a shock jock from NYC might have little in common…but the two were pen pals while Craig was away.
