It’s finally official, as of Monday at 2 p.m.: Craig Carton is back on the WFAN airwaves for good!
Carton & Roberts debuts in the afternoon slot today, marking Craig’s “official” return after three years, two months, and four days (his last regular appearance on Sept. 5, 2007, the day before his arrest). That day was the then-unknown end of a partnership that had begun 10 years and one day prior, when Boomer Esiason & Craig Carton debuted as the morning show team on Sept. 4, 2007 as the official replacement for Imus in the Morning.
We flashed back to a lot of classic Joe & Evan last week to celebrate Joe’s retirement, and thanks to the magic of YouTube, we’re flashing back today to that first-ever Craig Carton appearance: a look (and listen) back to the first-ever Boomer & Carton Show.
