MLB's Top 100 Right Now list has been completed, and the Mets are tied atop the league with eight players listed among the best in all of baseball.
The Yankees have six players on that list, highlighted by Aaron Judge at second overall, behind only Angels two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani, who was beat out by Judge for the American League MVP award in 2022.
As for the Mets (tied with the Astros for most players on the list), they have two players inside the top 15 in their pair of future Hall of Fame aces. Justin Verlander moves way up from 92nd to 14th, while Max Scherzer comes right behind at 15th after being ranked 12th overall in 2022. Francisco Lindor is 21st, Pete Alonso 31st, while Jeff McNeil moves way up from unranked to 45th after winning the National League batting title last season.
Edwin Diaz and Brandon Nimmo were also not ranked last season, but now come in at 51st and 54th, respectively. Starling Marte rounds out the Mets representatives at 61st.
For the Yankees, Gerrit Cole is next behind Judge at 37th place, and his new rotation mate Carlos Rodon is directly behind at 38th.
Anthony Rizzo is next at 74th after being unranked last season, while Nestor Cortes, also unranked last season, is ranked 91st.
Giancarlo Stanton gets the very last spot on the list, ranked 100th overall.
Mike Trout was third overall, while Mookie Betts and Manny Machado rounded out the top five.
