With Jerry in for Boomer and C-Lo working nights, we had a special guest fill in to do Boomer & Gio's updates and deliver Moment of the Day: THE MINK MAN!
Yes indeed, John Minko was in Jerry's chair today, so he got to deliver a Moment of the Day where a picture was worth 1000 words, but the 1000 words might have been worse.
"If we were all asked to do a Jeff Wilpon face, it'd all the same face – you know what I mean," Gio laughed. "He comes around the corner and you're like, 'NO! WHY? I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONE!' Music accompanying him and all."
Jerry likened the face Gio made to "a cross between Chernoff and Dracula," and that just made Gio go on and on to the delight of everyone in studio.
"The people listening on the radio, even though they're not seeing it, they know exactly what I mean!"
And then, the soothing tones of the Mink Man carried us out…perhaps until next Wednesday when he brings in some of the delicious food he's been whipping up in retirement?
