BT rips 'pathetic and disgraceful' fans sending hateful messages to Francisco Lindor's wife
Francisco Lindor's wife, Katia Reguero Lindor, shared some heinous and despicable messages that she received from fans critiquing the Mets shortstop's slow start to the season, prompting Steve Cohen to endorse fans showing more "positivity" with Lindor, much like Phillies fans did with the slumping Trea Turner last season.
BT made sure to take time out of Monday's show to call out any fans that would seek out a player's family on social media and use vile language and threats because they don't like how a player is performing on the field.
"Just pathetic and disgraceful," BT said. "It's unacceptable. I don't know how else to frame it."
Lindor's wife shared multiple messages that were disturbing in nature, adding she was "saddened to know how vile some people are." BT says there is no time, ever, for a player's wife or family member to have to read those kind of messages.
"If you are that predisposed to write something that mean about a woman and her children, you're a bad soul, man," BT said. "I don't know what to tell you. There is something missing from your heart."
