C-Mac had no issue with Jorge Lopez throwing glove: 'At least he's got a pulse!'
C-Mac took issue with Jorge Lopez's comments, especially after he clarified that he did consider the Mets to be "probably the worst f-----g team" in Major League Baseball.
But as for what prompted those comments, throwing his glove into the stands after being ejected, he had no problem with that response.
"I disagree with any of the pundits. I disagree with Carlos Mendoza," C-Mac said. "I don't seem that unacceptable…I don't deem tossing a baseball glove into the stands, and the guy in the crowd is ecstatic.
"He threw it in frustration. Hey, at least he's got a pulse!"
C-Mac says this Mets team could use some displays of emotion instead of the same old comments about knowing they are a better team than they've shown. Of course, that will now have to come from someone other than Lopez, who was reportedly designated for assignment due to his actions and comments.
"They have been dreadful in every way. At least someone gives a damn," C-Mac said. "I don't think he should do it, but for me, it's far from acceptable behavior…it's not an aggressive thing. It's not endangering anyone."
