Francisco Lindor is already embracing his new team colors.
With position players reporting to spring training on Monday, the Mets' new superstar shortstop showed up to camping rocking a new hairdo, an electric blue look to match the blue on his new Mets uniform.
It isn't necessarily a look strictly based on Lindor's new team, as he sported a similar style during spring training of 2019, but it doesn't hurt to have his hair match with the primary color of the team he'll be playing for in 2021, and for the Mets, hopefully much longer after that.
Lindor will be decked out in blue and orange this season after being traded to the Mets along with Carlos Carrasco during the offseason. Lindor, who becomes a free agent following the 2021 season, has expressed an openness to sign a long-term deal with New York, but would put those discussions off until after the season once spring training has started.
