Jacob deGrom was on the mound in game action for the first time since last July on Tuesday night, facing the Astros in his spring training debut.
The Mets ace did not disappoint.
DeGrom, whose 2021 season was on track to be one of the most dominant of all time before injuries ended his season around the All-Star break, struck out the side while boasting 98 mph on his fastball, getting two opponents swinging and one looking.
