Juan Soto will be the Mets’ lone All-Star in 2026 (at least for now), as he was named a starter in the National League outfield on Saturday night.
He will join Philly’s Brandon Marsh and Andy Pages of the Dodgers as the winners of Round 2 of the NL outfield voting and the starting outfield for the game on July 14 in Philadelphia.
Soto was the lone Met to advance to Round 2 of the voting, and he heads into MLB’s Star-Spangled Sunday hitting .296 with an NL-leading .404 OBP and .964 OPS. He also has 18 home runs and 41 RBI in 70 games.
This is Soto’s fifth All-Star appearance and third in four years, as he went to the game as a Padre in 2023 and a Yankee in 2024.
