The Mets' season is finally underway, and the league announced makeup dates for the opening series of the season against the Nationals, which was canceled entirely due to COVID-19 issues within the Washington clubhouse.
The games will begin to be made up on Saturday, June 19, with a doubleheader starting a 1:05 p.m. (the second game is slated to begin at 6:05 p.m.). That will include a game originally schedule for that day at 4:05 p.m.
The second game will be made up on Monday, June 28 at 7:05 p.m., originally an off-day for both teams. The series finale will be made up with a doubleheader on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 1:05 p.m., with the second game beginning at 6:05 p.m. The teams were originally scheduled to play that day at 4:05 p.m.
All games will be played at Nationals Park, and all doubleheader games will be seven innings.
