Steve Cohen 'pumped' for Mets/Braves battle: 'Baseball doesn't get any better than this'

Steve Cohen will be in Atlanta for the Mets’ big series with the Braves this weekend, and he is ready to take in his biggest series so far as the team’s owner.

With the division title on the line, Cohen tweeted Thursday night that he has touched down in Atlanta, and is “pumped” to watch his Mets take on the defending champs and look to lock up a division crown, which would be their first since 2015.

“Baseball doesn’t get any better than this,” Cohen tweeted.

Of course, some Mets fans, like Evan Roberts, may not agree, and instead see the upcoming series as a pressure-packed battle that will cause too much stress as a coveted playoff bye hangs in the balance.

Nevertheless, Cohen is clearly going to try and embrace it, as the Mets and Braves rivalry will reach a level it has not seen in years, maybe even decades.
