Kodai Senga went particularly wild after Francisco Alvarez's dramatic home run

Francisco Alvarez was trending on Twitter late Wednesday night after he blasted a dramatic game-tying home run with two outs in the ninth, and emphatically flipped his bat in the air before an animated trip around the bases.

Yet, Alvarez may not have been the most fired up Met after the home run sailed over the wall in right center.

Kodai Senga, who had just twirled eight innings of one-run ball, was elated in the dugout after Alvarez tied the game and finally provided some offense for the Mets. Senga took his hat off, threw his arms in the air, jumped up and down, and high-fived anybody in his vicinity as Alvarez made his trip around the bases, and there was more to celebrate after Mark Canha's triple set up one of the best wins of the Mets season.

Senga picked up the win and had one of his best starts of his young MLB career, allowing just four hits in his eight innings of work while striking out 12.
