Another day, another postponement.
The Mets and Pirates will not play on Thursday night due to rain, and instead will play a doubleheader on Saturday, with first pitch scheduled for 4:10 p.m. It will be New York's 10th twin bill of the season, and they will have at least 13 this year thanks to 13 postponements.
The Mets were also postponed earlier this week due to rain. They will have lost over 50 innings to seven-inning doubleheaders this season by the time the year is concluded.
Saturday will be a single admission doubleheader.
