The Mets, as Steve Cohen promised, have updated their sponsorship patch on the sleeve of their jerseys, using Mets colors and shrinking the size of the patch.

There is now basically no blank space around the NewYork Presbyterian logo, as there was when the patches were first revealed before the team’s home opener earlier this month, and the colors have been switched from red and white to the Mets’ blue and orange.

When the patches were first revealed, Cohen told reporters that the patch was too resembling of Phillies colors, and that there was an agreement in place to change its appearance.

That has already been done, and should appear much less demanding to viewers.
