NBA announces Nets, Knicks weekend schedules

The NBA has finally released its schedule for the final weekend – and the Nets will be front and center on WFAN, as their final two games will be opposite of the Yankees' schedule.

Brooklyn finishes with a Saturday-Sunday back-to-back, and the NBA has announced that Saturday's game against the Bulls will begin at 1:05 p.m., and Sunday's season finale with the Cavaliers will begin at 7:05 p.m.

That schedule means that both games will be on all WFAN platforms, as the Yankees play Saturday night (7 p.m.) and Sunday afternoon (1 p.m.) in Baltimore. Nets coverage will begin at 12:50 on Saturday and 6:50 on Sunday.

The Knicks, who have clinched a full playoff berth and will come home after tonight's game in San Antonio, will have a pair of afternoon games on the final weekend, hosting the Hornets on Saturday at 1 p.m. and the Celtics at the same time Sunday.

This will still be a big weekend for both teams in terms of standings as well; the Sixers can clinch the one seed over the Nets with a win in Miami Thursday night, but if they don't, the Nets will enter the weekend one back with two to play, and needing some help from Orlando, who finishes with two straight in Philly Friday and Sunday.

Brooklyn is also trying to hold off current No. 3 seed Milwaukee, who are 1.5 games back and finish with Indiana, Miami, and Chicago.
The Bulls could also still be fighting for a play-in spot come Saturday, as they must win their final three and hope the Wizards lose their final two to earn the No. 10 seed.

As for the Knicks, they enter Thursday tied with Miami at 38-31 and a half-game back of the 39-31 Hawks in the race for the fourth through sixth seeds.
