Boomer says Kyrie Irving has played his last game with Nets

After the Nets announced Kyrie Irving's indefinite suspension, lasting at the very least five games, Evan Roberts declared that the star point guard will never play another game with the franchise.

Boomer agrees, and says Irving's Nets career is likely over.

"I don't think he will [play another game]," Boomer said. "I sense from their press release that they have just had it. They're worn out, and how can you not be?

"I'm not just talking about the last few weeks, I mean the past few years."

Gio leans in the other direction, believing that Irving's late apology that he shared after the suspension was announced may be enough to get him back on the court with the Nets at some point.

"I initially thought he was gonna be done with the Nets forever until that post last night," Gio said. "That's what they were looking for, is the apology and the 'I'm sorry.' It was a step in the right direction. Because he seemed to relent or at least give in a little bit, he'll probably play for the Nets again."
