Brooklyn Nets re-sign David Duke Jr., Chris Chiozza

The Brooklyn Nets officially announced Friday that they have re-signed guard David Duke Jr. to a two-way deal, and have signed another familiar face in guard Chris Chiozza.

Per team policy, terms were not released of either signing outside of Duke's two-way status.

Duke Jr. originally signed with Brooklyn last summer as an undrafted free agent and spent 2021-22 on a two-way deal, making 22 appearances in Brooklyn and averaging 4.7 points and 3.0 rebounds in 15.5 minutes per game. He had a strong Summer League for the Nets, averaging 19.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 28.6 minutes per game across five games.

Chiozza, 26, spent parts of 2019-20 and 2020-21 with the Nets, appearing in 40 games and averaging 5.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 12.8 minutes per game. He spent last season with the Warriors, where he played 34 games and averaged 2.0 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 10.9 minutes per contest.

An undrafted free agent out of Florida in 2018, Chiozza has played in 91 career games with Houston, Washington, Brooklyn, and Golden State, averaging 3.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 11.4 minutes per game.
