Brooklyn Nets take UCLA F Tyler Bilodeau in Round 2 of 2026 NBA Draft

BROOKLYN (June 24, 2026) - The Brooklyn Nets have selected forward Tyler Bilodeau with the 43rd overall pick in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft.

Bilodeau (6’7”, 228) played four collegiate seasons for Oregon State (2022-24) and UCLA (2024-26), holding career averages of 13.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.6 steals in 26.5 minutes across 128 contests (108 starts). The 22-year-old held career shooting rates of 50.6 percent from the floor, 40.0 percent from 3-point distance and 80.7 percent from the free throw line, including a 43.8 percent 3-point rate as a Bruin. A two-time All-Big Ten Third Team selection with UCLA, Bilodeau ranked 12th in the Big Ten last season with 17.6 points per game and led the conference by shooting 46.4 percent from 3-point territory to go with 5.6 rebounds in 30.2 minutes across 31 games (30 starts). He scored at least 20 points 20 times in his collegiate career with five double-doubles and dropped a career-high 34 points last season against UC Riverside on Dec. 23, 2025.


A native of Kennewick, Wash., Bilodeau’s mother, Cass Bauer-Bilodeau, played four seasons in the WNBA from 1999-2002 and his father, Brent, was the No. 17 overall pick in the 1991 NHL Draft. Prior to committing to Oregon State, he was named the 2021-22 Gatorade Washington Boys Basketball Player of the Year after averaging 22.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 blocks per game as a senior at Kamiakin High School.
