As Evan and Tiki went through their Thursday show, the Nets were overseas in Paris, getting spanked by the Cavaliers, who led by as many as 26 and never trailed.
The Nets arrived in Paris having lost six of seven and 11 of their last 14, and three brutal quarters of play against Cleveland was enough for Evan to declare that it was time to move on from Jacque Vaughn.
“I apologize that they have quit on their head coach in Jacque Vaughn,” Evan said. “They should leave Jacque in Paris, France. They should. The team stinks, they’ve quit on them.”
Brooklyn had a solid start to the season but has cratered ever since, and Evan is ready to see a change.
“It’s been a fun day, it’s a Throwback Thursday,” Evan said. “But it’s painful watching my basketball team getting their butts kicked.”
