The main concern for the Nets heading into the postseason was centered around how their big three would perform together after limited shared playing time in the regular season.
Now, that concern might shift to how the team will fare without one of its big three.
James Harden, who put up MVP-caliber numbers with Brooklyn before suffering a hamstring strain in April, suffered another hamstring injury on his first drive of the game in the Nets' series opener against the Bucks on Saturday night. Harden disappeared into the locker room after the play, less than a minute into game one.
Harden drove left and kicked a pass out to the corner before immediately grabbing at his hamstring and heading down the tunnel. He was later ruled out for the rest of game one.
Harden averaged 27.8 points and 10.6 assists per game in Brooklyn's first round win over the Celtics, shooting 55.6 percent from the floor and 47.5 percent from beyond the arc. If he is out for any more than game one, the Nets' run at a championship just got a lot tougher.
