The Nets will continue to be shorthanded when they take the floor on Sunday night against the Bulls, as the team says James Harden will not play due to a left hamstring strain.
Harden left Brooklyn's win over the Rockets on March 31 with hamstring tightness, coming out for good in the third quarter after finishing with 17 points. He missed all of the Nets' win over the Hornets on Thursday.
Kevin Durant, as expected, was also ruled out for Sunday's game.
Harden has been putting up MVP numbers since joining the Nets, averaging 26.1 points, 11.2 assists and 8.9 rebounds per game.
The Nets head into Chicago Sunday afternoon riding a four-game winning streak.
