The Nets let a lead slip away in an eventual overtime loss to the Heat on Monday, and Keith is beyond fed up with his basketball team.
“I got nothing for the Nets,” Keith said. “At least Ben Simmons was fresh courtside. Looks like he picked up some fresh gear in France.”
Keith has long wanted the Nets to make a change at head coach, as he doesn’t see this group playing hard or with any cohesion under Jacque Vaughn.
“There’s no offensive plan or scheme to run through Nic Claxton for him to take shots…they want Mikal Bridges taking all the shots,” Keith said. “They don’t even want Cam Thomas to take shots until they get desperate.”
At this point, Keith would hit the reset button and start anew, and what better time to do that than the upcoming trade deadline next month?
“They just got to start over, and they refuse,” Keith said. “I don’t know what they’re waiting for to start selling off pieces. This season is not it. It wasn’t last year. This season is getting bad.
“There’s a lot of problems. It starts at the top. I don’t think the owner is as invested after going through the KD/Kyrie era with superstars, and it was just headaches and nonsense.”
