A video of Kevin Durant captured the superstar telling a fan "You gotta shut the f--k up and sit down," and he will pay the price of $25,000.
The league issued the fine to Durant on Friday for those words during the Nets' loss to the Mavericks, which he said in response to a courtside fan who yelled at Durant to take over the game. It is the third time Durant has been fined by the NBA in the past three months.
Back in December, Durant was fined the same amount for a similar offense, directing obscene language at a fan after that fan told him to "stop crying" as Durant was jogging up the court during a game in Atlanta. Less than a month later, he was fined $15,000 for using profane language during a postgame press conference.
