Spencer Dinwiddie has been in a long-standing feud with Kyle Kuzma, and it reached a boiling point on Wednesday when Kuzma went off on the Nets guard in a Twitter thread.
Kuzma fired back at comments made by Dinwiddie that his former Wizards teammate is out for fame over winning, and said, “Insecurity is loud” when talking about the duo’s history of going back and forth. In a long thread, Kuzma coined the nickname, “Dins---tie” before sounding off on the Brooklyn guard.
“I’m usually unbothered [about] things on the internet but I will not allow this delusional guy to continue to talk about my teammates and I,” Kuzma said of Dinwiddie. “The Wizards and I have so much real estate on Dins--tie island. This guy got signed by a team…and was traded before the following season was over.
“What in the world have you won in this league? You’ve been bounced around like a basketball my boy.”
Kuzma went on to say that Dinwiddie’s Nets can thank Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, both no longer with Brooklyn, as the reason their team is in the playoffs in the first place. He then declared he was rooting for the Sixers to defeat the Nets in the first round.
“The only way you’ll ever be worth your contract is if the NBA finally gives you your wish of getting paid in crypto,” Kuzma said.
