Kyrie Irving has become a source of distraction yet again for the Nets, who changed their stance on Irving's vaccine status last season because of a desire to save their sinking season.
Now, Irving continues to cause headaches for the team, while putting up one of the worst performances of his career on Tuesday.
In Tuesday night's loss to the Bulls, hours after Steve Nash and the Nets parted ways and GM Sean Marks answered questions about why the team hadn't disciplined Irving for posting an antisemitic video, the star point guard tallied just four points in nearly 33 minutes, shooting 2-for-12 from the floor.
According to SNY, that was the first time in Irving's career, that he scored less than five points in a game while playing more than 24 minutes.
Irving his shooting 45.3 percent from the field this season, and averaging just under 27 points per game, but is shooting just 28 percent from beyond the arc. Most importantly, the Nets are 2-6 on the season.
