The Nets signed Paul Millsap and re-signed LaMarcus Aldridge this week, and now added another pair of forwards to the potential rotation.

Brooklyn officially announced Friday night that they have dealt center DeAndre Jordan and four future second-round picks to the Pistons for Jahlil Okafor and Sekou Doumbouya.

Per the team, the picks in are their own in 2022 and 2027, plus a 2024 pick via Washington and a 2025 pick via Golden State. Brooklyn also sent cash considerations, reportedly $5.87 million according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal will save Brooklyn roughly $47 million in salary and luxury tax on the trade, and Detroit is expected to buy out Jordan, who is still owed $20 million over the next two seasons.

“We appreciate everything DeAndre has contributed to our organization over the past two seasons both on and off the court and wish him and his family the best moving forward,” said Nets General Manager Sean Marks in the team statement announcing the deal.

Jordan was part of the Nets’ big three to sign in the summer of 2019, along with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, but averaged just 7.9 points and 8.7 rebounds in his two seasons with Brooklyn.

Last year, he averaged 5.4 points and 2.4 rebounds per game in 27 games, averaging 12.9 minutes per contest.

Doumbouya, the 15th overall pick in the 2019 draft, has averaged 5.6 points 2.8 rebounds per game over his first two NBA seasons. The 6-foot-8 forward appeared in 56 games last season and made 11 starts.
