BT's message to Kevin Durant: 'You've been here a couple years, and you haven't won a damn thing'

Brandon Tierney has a message for Kevin Durant after Durant’s message to Nets owner Joe Tsai was to either fire Steve Nash and Sean Marks, or to trade him.

“I am tired of pro athletes…you get the outliers that genuinely think that they own the team,” BT said before revealing his message to the Nets superstar.

“Memo to Kevin Durant: You have been here a couple of years, and you haven’t won a damn thing. Not that you haven’t played well, but you haven’t delivered yet. You basically told us, ‘Get rid of Atkinson, don’t want him.’ Got rid of him. You told us, ‘Give my guy DeAndre Jordan money.’ You gave it to him, he stunk. You ripped apart the roster for trades. You rubber-stamped that. Here we are, a month or so before training camp, and you have the gall…the audacity to tell the owner of the Nets that unless you get rid of the head coach AND the general manager, ‘I ain’t coming back.’”

Durant reportedly doesn’t like the leadership in Brooklyn, but BT doesn’t like when players even as gifted and dynamic as Durant act like they should have leadership power of the operations of the team.
