Looks like KD is back.
According to ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Kevin Durant "is planning to return to the lineup" when the Nets host the Suns on Sunday afternoon (3:20 p.m. on WFAN):
Durant has missed the last three games with a left thigh contusion suffered in Brooklyn's loss to Miami on April 18, and has missed 36 of the Nets' first 60 games overall due to various injuries and stints in the NBA's COVID health and safety protocols.
He has, of course, been incredibly productive in the 24 games he has played, averaging 27.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game, even with the Heat game where he logged just four minutes factored in.
James Harden remains out indefinitely, so the Nets will only have two-thirds of "Scary Hours" – the trio of Harden, Durant, and Kyrie Irving that has seen action together in just seven games.
