NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Mayor Bill de Blasio debuted a new PSA from the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday that encourages fans and Barclays Center staff to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
The video features players Blake Griffin and Bruce Brown, as well as coach Steve Nash and GM Sean Marks.
"Your health is worth a shot," Griffin says in the PSA.

De Blasio said he believed the Nets' outreach will help the city's ongoing vaccination efforts. "When they speak up, it makes a real impact," he said.
During the upcoming season, all guests at Barclays Center will be required to show proof of at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose.
Barclays Center employees also have a chance to win $25,000 or weekly prizes if they're vaccinated.
