The way business is conducted in all walks of life has changed immensely over the last 14 months, as the COVID-19 pandemic has given us a new normal in the United States.
That includes broadcasting, as sports announcers often aren't traveling to the sites of away games – for instance, Chris Carrino and Tim Capstraw, our Nets announce team on WFAN, are always at Barclays Center regardless of whether the Nets are in Brooklyn or not.
Being in an empty arena definitely provides some challenges, but in the video below, CC and Capper explain how they make it happen – with Carrino using another famous former Brooklyn radio announcer, Dodgers stalwart Red Barber, as inspiration!
