Boomer is usually good for a complaint or two despite his team winning, but after the Rangers' dominant performance in game two, even he was at a loss for critiques.
"This was the best game they've played all year," Boomer said. "This was a dominating performance. There was no space for Jack Hughes or Nico Hischier. They were defending, they were attacking the zone, this was great.
"This game was a shutdown game, and their stars showed up. It was very satisfying, to say the least."
So satisfying, that Boomer was nearly at a loss for words, and wasn't sure what to do with himself after coming away from a Rangers game without anything to be worried about.
"I don't know how to act," Boomer said. "There will be some trepidation and some things we have to fight through, but right now, with the way this team is playing…there's not really one thing that I can come in here this morning and bitch about."
