Evan: 'Unhinged baby' Ranger fans clearly want no part of Islanders in playoffs
After hearing the reaction from Ranger fans following their team's loss to the Islanders on Tuesday night, Evan is convinced that the Blueshirts faithful don't want to see their crosstown foes in the playoffs.
"My dear friends who are Rangers fans want no part of the New York Islanders," Evan said. "What we witnessed last night, this morning, and this afternoon is an unhinged group of fans. They lost a game last night. It's okay. That game mattered a hell of a lot more for the Islanders than the Rangers. Yet all I've heard…are tears and whining and bitching, and quite frankly, it's only happened because your head coach decided to claim, incorrectly, that Adam Pelech did anything illegally to Mika Zibanejad. That is not the case."
After hearing the reactions of Ranger fans like Morash, who called the Pelech play dirty, Evan is convinced their anger is a front to fear of having to take on the Isles and potentially be bounced in the first round of the playoffs by another hated rival.
"Anyone with half a brain who is not an unhinged, biased baby knows that there was nothing dirty on that play," Evan said.
