After nearly three weeks of inaction, the Rangers are expected to have their starting goalie back between the pipes on Thursday.
Igor Shesterkin, who has been out with a groin injury since March 4, when he slid across the crease in attempt to stop an odd-man rush in a win against the Devils.
The Rangers went 6-4 in Shesterkin's absence, with Alexandar Gerogiev and Keith Kinkaid sharing reps in net while Shesterkin was recovering.
Shesterkin has a 92.1 save percentage this season and a 2.31 goals against average. He holds a record of 6-7-1.
