Boomer's dilemma: Rangers/Capitals game six on same night as Boomer and Gio Live

The Rangers' full schedule for their first-round series against the Capitals has been revealed, and it represents a potential major problem for Boomer.

Should a game six be necessary, the Blueshirts and Caps would drop the puck on May 3, the same night as the third installment of Boomer and Gio Live.

Boomer was in Canada for a hockey tournament on Friday, so Gio and Jerry were left to wonder what they would do if the series goes six.

"I just hope that series is over, one way or another, in four or five," Gio said. "He's not gonna be able to concentrate in the way we need him to concentrate if there's a game going on.

"We're gonna have to work into the show something that incorporates that game…it's gonna be a problem."

Jerry will also be hoping for a short series, but in the NHL, there is the potential for longer series, more so than any other sport. So, while the Rangers are heavy first-round favorites, there could be a major conflict on the horizon.

"Game sixes are almost likely in most series," Jerry said. "Can you imagine if they're down 3-2?"
