Ricky Glenn is back.
After two and a half years away from the octagon, the 32-year-old knocked out Joaquim Silva in 37 seconds in his return last week, and the UFC world will see more of him to come, as Glenn has agreed to a new four-fight deal after a stellar reintroduction at UFC Vegas 29.
"I'm prepared to go the distance…but I went out to Vegas for one thing, to get the job done," Glenn told Pete Hoffman on the latest episode of The Fight Fan. "It didn't matter how quick I got it done. It was pretty cool too, because I didn't get hit."
Glenn felt the jitters in his first fight back, but it certainly didn't show.
"I think I put a little more pressure on myself with being out for so long," Glenn said. "I like being a little nervous and I was a little scared of course, the guy is coming to rip my head off…I know there's that risk of getting hurt, so I trained really hard…luckily it went really smooth in my favor."
