Robinson Cano is really making his minor league return in style.
After being assigned by the Padres to Triple-A, Cano played in his first minor league game, excluding a rehab assignment, in 17 years on Saturday for the El Paso Chihuahuas, who just so happened to be celebrating Nickelodeon Night at the ballpark.
That meant Cano and the rest of the team would be wearing special SpongeBob SquarePants jerseys, and they look as amazing as you might expect.
Cano hasn't played in a minor league game aside from working his way back from an injury since 2005, and he is getting a very unique welcoming.
