Steve Somers was on the airwaves Sunday evening following two more New York football losses, and his opening monologue didn’t disappoint.
Steve talked about the Giants and Jets trying to put out dumpster fires with water guns, and Aaron Rodgers’ arm at 40 years old looking more like a water gun than a cannon at this point.
“The New York Jets, they’ll find a way to lose because that’s who they are, and that’s what they do,” Steve Said.
“Does anyone remember the last time he threw the football for more than 10 yards? He doesn’t throw it vertically anymore. Maybe he doesn’t have the arm strength...he throws it out into the flat and maybe some screens, and that’s about it for Aaron Rodgers.
“If he’s going to go longer than 10 yards with any kind of a throw, it isn’t accurate.”
